Car manufacturing was started in Riga, at RBVZ at 1908.
Car were made under RussoBalt brand. First serial car left factory at 1909.
At 1911-1912 RussoBalt, which was specially named RussoBaltique became a winner at Rally Monte Carlo. He was awarded by HSH Monaco Prince Luois and, after coming back home, he got St.Anna order from Russian Tzar Nikolai II.
At 1912 Russo Balt made world first SUV, presented it to Russian Tzar Nikolai II, and became oficial supplier of Russian Tzar Army. Same 1912 famous helicopter inventor Sikorsky start work at RussoBalt as an engeneer.
At 1914 RussoBalt made first armored car.
At 1915 factory was evacuated to St.Petersburg to Putilovsky Zavod.
At 1917 Lenin told his famous speech from RussoBalt armored car board. Speech which shocked and shoocked the world.
At 1922 RussoBalt was renamed to PROMBRON (ex.RussoBalt) and new commy tzars Trotcky, Voroshilov, Kalinin drive this car.
At 1998 favorite Gorby's car designer D. Parfenov start armored car manufacturing at same Putilovsky factory. Exact 90 years passed.
At 2008 after 100 years manufacturing come back to Baltic, and world oldest armored car brand was reincarnated.
Now RussoBalt is two different companies - one under brand RussoBaltique manufature luxury sport car RussoBaltique, other DARTS GRUPA (or DARTZ.EU) - uberluxury armored car PROMBRON' (ex.RussoBaltique). regular armored cars are sold under the brand DARTZ.KOMBAT.
At 2009 both cars PROMBRON' (ex.RussoBaltique) and DARTZ.KOMBAT was presented to HSH Monaco Prince Albert II at Top Marques Monaco 2009 show.
For this show was specially made MONACO.100 edition.
Car became showstopper and headturner.
After TMM 2009 DARTZ pisked up all the request and preparing uberluxury armored car PROMBRON' (ex.RussoBaltique) MONACO.RED.DIAMOND which promised to be world most luxury and most safe armored SUV.
This car not only made by unique armoring technology which was created for soviet tanks, but there are also possible and impossible luxury things You can imagine.
