Balkan I

Balkan I started life as a 1982 27 metre Cantieri di Pisa. The yacht was bought by the government of the Republic of Bulgaria for the general Secretary of the Bulgarian Communist Party and the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Bulgaria, Todor Zhivkov, in 1982. After the political changes in 1989, the yacht was carefully kept in a Bulgarian Navy Base in a specially built building until 2007, when she was sold by the government to a private company. The present owner moved her to Turkey for a complete overhaul from the keel up. The rebuild of Balkan I has been completed with the hull lengthened, all new machinery, electronics, electrical, audio/visual, interior furnishings and layout and exterior paint. Millions more than her asking price have been invested in her. With the rebuild complete, Balkan I will cruise the Mediteranean until she is sold. The seller will consider reasonable owner financing or leasing terms. The yacht is close to Ataturk Airport, so previews are convenient and welcome. Just reduced again!

One enters the main salon through the aftdeck doors and forward to the dining salon. The galley is forward on the main deck. The staterooms are below decks.

The main salon now includes all brand new furniture, audio/visual and electrical. It is a very modern decor with a light and airy atmosphere.

The dining salon is forward of the main salon and includes a new teak table and chairs for eight guests.

Balkan 28 sleeps eight guests comfortably in four staterooms. The master and VIP offer queen size berths and the guest staterooms are twin berth layouts. There is a crew cabin forward and master cabin aft.

The master stateroom is located aft with a queen berth and ensuite head. Again, thereis all new furniture, audio/visual and electrical throughout.

The VIP stateroom is forward and full beam like the master stateroom. There is a queen size berth and ensuite head. There is all new furniture, audio/visual and electrical.

There are two twin berth guest staterooms forward. All furniture, audio/visual and electrical is new.

A two berth crew cabin and crew mess are located forward and a captain cabin is located aft.

There is a full console forward with new electronics and ample seating under the Bimini. There is a tender and 600 kg davit aft.

Zodiac 4.2 metre RIB with 60 hp Mercury outboard located on the sundeck with a 600 kg davit.
