It was in 2002 when Tony Pandolfo and Gene Lewis, both boat racers from Orlando, Florida, decided they would put a jet engine into a sport motorcycle.

The project took longer than the men had hoped - seven years, in fact - but in 2009, they put the finishing touches on possibly the world's first and only jet-turbine-powered Suzuki GSX-R1100. After their fire-spitting bike was unveiled at Orlando's Stunt Wars in January, it was featured in the pages of Motorcyclist, 2 Wheel Tuner, Streetfighter, Super Streetbike, Bomber (Finland), and Street Monsters (France). Now, Pandolfo and his associates have completed their second project: a first-generation Suzuki Hayabusa outfitted with a jet fuel starter from a military fighter jet. As mean as this bike is, it has an uncanny habit of attracting people. Once you hear the sound of the ignition - it's like something out of a science-fiction movie - you'll understand why. As an added crowd-pleaser, the jet Hayabusa comes equipped with an afterburner that produces a wall of flame nearly as large as the bike itself. “I decided to put my name to this bike as I originally dreamed of it for myself”. This is how Claudio Castiglioni, the Managing Director referred to the new F4 that now carries his initials “CC”.

The boss of MV did what any of us might well have done and gave in to his inner instincts, gave in to the temptation to create a motorbike, not just to meet strategic market needs, but to create something really special, something truly magnificent - just for the sake of it.

To create the F4CC project, he obviously utilized everything at his disposal; exclusive materials and the latest technology to attain the utmost in performance.

But the F4 1000 CC No. 33 is all the more noble as it is owned by the Castiglione family and remained in their personal apartment. The F4 CC N°33 has never been used. It was intended to be for Claudio's son, Giovanni, who decided to sell it after the passing of his father.

THE LADY IN BLACK

In addition to what the components in full view let us sense, the F4CC in its elegant black dress underlines the elegance and sophistication of a beautiful woman in a “little black number”. The deliberate contrast between painted areas and bare carbon-fibre, between the fairing, the tank and the tail create a piece of modern architecture. Only in the prestige sector of the automotive field can such exclusive design be found. Red lines emphasis the “CC” on the fairing as does the F4 signature. There is however much more. The instrument panel has customized graphics and the all-black Alcantara saddle uses different fabrics on the top and side areas.

The dashboard has custom graphics and the black Alcantara saddle uses different leather stitched on the top and the sides. 90% of the components are manufactured as single elements: the fork, the steering damper, the brake, brake and clutch tanks, gears, footpegs and the side kickstand. 

The F4 CC uses special materials built by CRC (Centro Ricerca Cagiva): Magnesium, Carbon, Titanium, Molybdenum, Aluminium. 

The fairing is 100% carbon fibre filler and the custom-made tank cap comes from the aviation industry. All mesh protection of the inlet conveyor and seat cowl are made from titanium. 

The same components are found on the bottom of the radiator and the four racing exhausts that form the arrangement in classical organ pipes. 

Such prestigious design is only found in exceptional automobile.

The set up of this race car was completed by Colin Blower of TVR fame and, measured on the dyno, it developed 390 bhp.  Running on the original chassis, with considerable strengthening, the car has a full roll cage making it considerably stiffer.

The suspension is via coil springs over fully adjustable dampers and the car has rose jointed suspension mounts and a fully adjustable front anti roll bar. Brakes are 6 pot front callipers.

Driven through a 4 speed dog box with Jack Knight gears and triple plate AP racing clutch with Tilton mechanism, the power comes from a highly developed 4.5 racing engine with a steel crank, special piston rods, camshafts and 55 DCOE Weber carburettors. Mapped ignition is via MSD and the car sits on 16” x 6” 72 spoke Motor Wheel Service wire wheels and was campaigned on Yokohama Advan tyres.

This car has a superb track pedigree over three decades – the current owner contested the 2010 Val des Terres Hill Climb in Guernsey with a Class win in the Hill Climb then in the Credit Suisse Jersey Festival the same year came second in class.  But for health problems, there would have been more in 2011 but those issues persist and are why the car has come back to the market

So this is a car that offers far more than an ordinary Aston Martin DB5 – it is a well prepared, well presented thoroughbred with the silverware to back up its reputation on the track.  Even for a novice Aston racer, if offers a competitive car with huge potential and for one with more experience, a podium finisher with realistic Championship aspirations.

This unique prototype had been designed and manufactured for the movie "Babylon AD" (2008), directed by Mathhieu Kasovitz and featuring Vin Diesel.

This motorcycle is based on Yamaha FZR 1000. Completely modified, the machine has been lowered and it possesses now, among others, a single arm to the rear and a MiniCooper S compressor.

Here’s an opportunity to acquire a racing Ducati with an excellent racing pedigree.
In fact this is the 996 RS from 1999 with which Troy Bayliss won the 1999 British Superbike Championship.

The complete history of this bike is known. Sold new at the start of 1999 by Ducati’s racing department to the English team, GSE Racing for use in the British Superbike Championships. Troy Bayliss the team’s Australian rider subsequently won the championship that year.

At the start of 2000 the bike was sold to Ducati France (documents available) to race in the French Superbike Championship with French rider Frédéric Protat at the controls. The rider with this bike subsequently won the French Championship in 2000 and 2001.

Later sold in 2002 to a French collector this bike is sold with a certificate of authenticity supplied by Ducati France.
The bike has recently completed a full overhaul and is in perfect running condition and is now available in France. Some additional spares are also included with the bike.

Challenging Traditions

Traditions must be challenged periodically and the 100 meter superyacht, Sovereign, from Gray Design has the daring and wit to be a serious contender.  Designed for kings, queens and monarchs, the Sovereign's strict lines and well appointed detailing place it in a class where only the best is tolerated.

Maintaining only three decks over the entire length of the yacht gives her an extremely low profile by current standards and the echoes of automotive design are deafening.  Taking design cues from exclusive limousines and borrowing the style of chauffeur driven carriages give proportions that are both stately and sophisticated while at the same time having an athletic stance that hints at the rapid transitions she makes between marinas.

Clean Energy

The features list is long and several details cannot go unnoticed at first glance.  The wind turbine in the mast coupled with the solar panels covering the roof of the yacht supply clean energy for lighting systems and reserve power supplies that can be topped up whenever the sun shines or the wind blows.  The retractable cover at the bow of the yacht keeps the area cool and can be raised to form a sun shade over the jacuzzi on a hot day. At the aft end is the infinity pool which can keep water circulating around the reinforced glass helicopter pad for an invigorating swim.  Thread lighting around the edges of the pool give a pleasant nighttime illumination to the experience and these lighting features continue along the length of the yacht and past the peak of the pilot house to give a signature illumination when moored offshore. Accommodations feature an excessive owners suite on the top deck which stretch from the aft owners deck through to the bow owners deck including the atrium located under the glasshouse beneath the pilothouse.  In addition there are 10 guest suites with provisions including a nightclub, cinema, gym and library.

The beach club on the lower deck maintains the rich detailing of the yacht whose centerpiece is the skylight that looks up through the floor of the helipad. Sculptures inspired by the yacht itself decorate this space and rich fabrics and crystal light fittings continue the theme of elegance and class. Custom Limo

The Veyron's bold proportions, well-balanced surfaces, and clear line structures give an impression of pure, sleek elegance.
The design of the Veyron honours a great heritage without drifting into retro style. Every aspect of the Veyron 16.4's interior focuses on essentials.
Clear lines dominate the design, and all controls reflect a meticulous attention to detail - the selection and finish of the prevailing materials aluminium and leather meet the highest possible standards. A unique alloy was specially developed to guarantee the consistent aluminium shine. Only the choicest leather – free of even the tiniest blemishes – was used for the interior. The light-alloy steering wheel is a work of art, a composition of aluminium spokes, a leather cover, and convenient rocker switches offering easy access to the car's sports automatics functions. With its 16-cylinder four-wheel drive, the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 may well be the most sophisticated production vehicle of all times. Boasting a maximum speed of more than 400 km per hour, the Veyron is unmatched in the super sports category. It offers a total of 1,001 HP, and its ample power reserves even at high speeds are the fabric of dreams for luxury-class limousines: for a constant speed of 250 km/h, the Veyron only needs 270-280 HP.   The Electronic Stability Program (ESP) ensures the necessary flexibility and manoeuvrability at any speed. The Veyron reaches velocities that would literally lift the car off the ground – if it weren't for its ingenious aerodynamics, which keeps it firmly on the road even at full speed. Adjusting the back spoiler, reducing ground clearance, opening and closing the lids – it all adds to the perfect balance between propulsion and downforce. Such a super sports car may not seem to be brought to a halt easily, but the Veyron's ceramic brakes slow it down faster than it can accelerate. While it takes this exceptional car only 2.5 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h, it needs even less time – a mere 2.3 seconds – to come to a standstill from 100.  All of these technical details combine to make the Veyron a truly exceptional super sports car.   Acceleration
The Veyron uses the same launch control technology as Formula 1 racing cars to ensure maximum traction from first to seventh gear and up to the 400 km/h maximum speed.
The electronically controlled acceleration takes the car from standstill position beyond the 400 km/h threshold in less than one minute. Just activate launch control, engage gear, control the steering wheel, place your left foot on the brake, and keep your right foot on full throttle. If you release the brakes swiftly, you will accelerate on a par with veritable Formula 1 cars. The mighty, 1,001-horsepower sixteen-cylinder four-wheel drive can be felt and driven through a widerange of engine speeds.  A constant 250 km/h requires only 270-280 of the Veyron's horsepower meaning that more than 700 HP are continuously “on standby” for quick and fast interludes. With this kind of power and pull, the Veyron manages racecourses as easily and competently as lonely mountain passes or rushhour traffic in Tokyo.   Speed
The Veyron 16.4 is the fastest production vehicle of all time.
For years, the Bugatti engineers worked diligently in order to push the 400 km/h boundary. No wind tunnel can simulate this velocity, which is why after each of a long series of improvements, the different ground clearance levels and the modifications of the rear bumpers, spoiler and underbody were tested separately on high-speed test ranges. This ambition and persistence paid off, as the official speed measurement proves. The Veyron's high velocity is due to the perfect combination of engine technology, consistent lightweight construction, specially developed tires, and the complex balance of propulsion and downforce.  Not only aerodynamic drag plays a crucial factor at very high speeds, but also the precise adjustment of the downforce that holds the car to the road surface. In addition to this raw speed, the Veyron also meets the highest safety, reliability and maneuverability standards requires by even the most discerning drivers.   To create the optimum aerodynamics, the Bugatti engineers developed three configuration modes. Standard mode - used for speeds up to 220 km/h, the rear spoiler system is completely retracted. In handling mode, used at higher velocities, the vehicles nose is pulled down and the monumental rear spoiler deployed. This produces an additional 350 kg of downforce without compromising the Veyron's exceptional handling. Top speed mode - for velocities beyond 375 km/h, which is activated before the engine is started.  In top speed mode the front diffuser flaps are shut to make the underbody absolutely level, and the spoiler is lowered and  completely aligned with the chassis, forming a tearing edge – thus, the Veyron is perfectly adapted for top velocities. The downforce is reduced to minimize the strain on the tyres. The car is held down on the road by its own weight and the downforce. The Veyron starts immediately at top speed mode, allowing only for a limited turn of the steering wheel. As soon as the driver brakes, the Veyron automatically switches to handling mode. But those who dare to accelerate consistently on a long, straight road will experience the power of the fastest production vehicle of all times.   Handling
The Bugatti's Veyron 16.4 is the first super sports car with guaranteed ESP functionality at all speeds including top velocity, tested and approved by exceptional race car drivers.
The first ESP tests at velocities beyond 300 km/h were performed on the dried salt lakes in the American Southwest where the low-friction ground surface is ideal for taking a car's road grip to the limit. Featuring intelligent four-wheel drive and four electronic controls, the Veyron is as safe as it is fast. Two steerage systems, a Haldex clutch, and the rear axle locking differential provide the necessary dynamics, while the brake pressure regulation and active torque control ensure controllability.   In addition to the ingenious electronic controls, the Veyron 16.4 features high-precision engineering and a perfect underbody based on state-of-the-art racing technology. Double traverse control arms in the front and rear guarantee precise wheel control. All elements work smoothly together with minimal friction and a maximum of stability. Suspension, cushioning, and stabilizers react directly and immediately.   The steering system is equally well balanced: the high connection stiffness of all elements ensures direct reactivity. The car follows each and every move of the driver, at any speed and with exactly the right dose of servo support. The latter is gradually decreased towards top velocity, making for easy manoeuvrability in city traffic without compromising smooth directional stability at high speeds, and precise, flawless corner turns on country roads. The tires are the last, but certainly not the least factor determining driving dynamics and security. The Veyron 16.4 tires feature a specially developed rubber compound, customized tire tread, and an elaborate tire pressure control system.   Braking
There is one thing the Veyron 16.4 does even faster than accelerating: braking.
The Bugatti Veyron exploits the full range of available technologies to allow for ultra-fast deceleration. It takes less than 5 seconds to get from 0 to 100 km and back to a complete standstill. In theory, that is, for such a feat would require the driver to react with nearly superhuman speed. The whole braking process takes no more than 31.4 meters or 2.3 seconds – that is less than the car needs to get from 0 to 100 km. And even the 400-to-0-km/h deceleration is a matter of less than 10 seconds. Made of high-tech carbon, ceramic, and titanium materials, the brake system guarantees consistently high friction values and optimum cooling. Intelligent carbon-ceramic brake discs with interior ventilation, eight-piston monoblock caliper units in the front, and six-piston caliper units in the rear ensure the necessary driving agility on a par with professional racecars. The rear spoiler serves as an additional air brake at speeds beyond 200 km/h. Activated by the brake pedal, the spoiler shoots up and is deployed at a 55-degree angle in less than 0.4 seconds. Tests including repeated follow-up brake maneuvers have shown this brake system to be not only the most powerful, but also the most reliable and durable ever built into a serial production vehicle. It boasts deceleration values of up to 1.3 g, with an additional 0.6 g support by the rear spoiler. Even during full braking maneuvers at top velocities, these brakes won't give. Brake fade, the much feared performance reduction after repeated application of the brakes – e.g. during long downhill drives – is virtually impossible.
Lightweight Construction:
A super sports car like the Veyron 16.4 needs to be light in order to reach top speeds.
From the initial concept to the design and the selection of materials, the Bugatti engineers tapped the full potential of their considerable expertise to ensure that this car is, indeed, a lightweight. Titanium, carbon, magnesium, and aluminum – each part of the Veyron 16.4 is made of the material with the lowest weight and the highest level of functionality - The titanium piston rods save approx. 4 kg of weight, the titanium screws 3.5 kg, and the magnesium valve caps another 2 kg.   By reducing the wheelbase, the original weight was reduced by about a third, and the titanium exhaust system – another Veyron 16.4 first – with its wafer-thin layer of titanium aluminite saves yet another 17 kg. These combined efforts capped the Veyron 16.4's weight at a compact 1,888 kg. Add the car's high-powered performance and unmatched speed, and you have a uniquely fast and nimble super sports car.   Optimum protection is guaranteed by the car's carbon monocoque construction: weighing only 110 kg, the survival cell withstands enormous crash impact forces. This principle is comparable to that used in the Formula 1 world, where drivers usually emerge uninjured from their cars even after severe accidents. The maximum impact force reduction is mainly due to the frames integrated in the carbon monocoque. The front part of the monocoque is made of aluminium; the rear consists of a combination of carbon, stainless steel, and aluminium. The car's safety concept, which includes two frontal airbags for the front-seat occupants, is so sophisticated that additional airbags would be redundant. Crash tests have shown the Veyron 16.4 to conform to all international safety standards – and to exceed them. As painful as it was for the engineers to watch their valuable prototypes hit the test wall, they were always glad to see that the Veyron survived these manoeuvres almost unharmed.

Extremely rare 1972 works De Tomaso Pantera group 4, one of only 14 units ever built by the factory. When De Tomaso launched his racing program for his new and promising Pantera, they decided to build a racing version of the car that would be eligible for the FIA group 4 class. Only 14 units have been built with a special lightweight chassis (Type 874A – A stands for Alleggerita), and immediately entered major international races. One of the most important events in 1972 was the 24 hours of Le Mans, with four factory group 4 Pantera registered at the race. Despite the superb results for the qualifying sessions (a Pantera did the best qualifying time in group 4 class), the result in the race itself were very disappointing. It is now commonly known that with more time to properly prepared the cars, the Pantera would have been front runners in that race.

Ecurie Franco-Britannic entered the race with a factory group 4 Pantera driven by Vinatier and Chasseuil. This is the car we are proud to offer today. The history of this car is very well known, crystal clear and documented from the beginning including the entry form of the 1972 24 hours of Le Mans, and the name of all owners. It is important to point out that the chassis number of the car is #2824, but for some unknown reasons the factory re-stamped the chassis with #2342 before delivering it to Franco-Britannic in 1972. The last owner, Dick Lasselle who purchased the car in 1993, started to search for the history of the car. His perseverance has paid off, as he managed to get in touch with every single owner of the car and got some information directly from the former Franco-Britannic manager, Mike Moule. With the help of Claudia Lodi from the De Tomaso factory, he managed to clarify the history behind the double chassis number. An official period document from the factory showed the list of all 14 factory group 4 with their chassis numbers. On that document, the #2824 appears with another number #2342 in brackets. Claudia Lodi confirmed that there were two chassis numbers attached to that car but could not find out the reason why the factory did that. Mike Moule also confirmed that Franco-Britannic did not know the actual chassis number of the car was not #2342 but #2824 at that time, and that the factory re-stamped it prior delivery.

The history of the double chassis number is thus clear and documented. It is important to note that most of the racing history of the car will appear with #2342.

This De Tomaso Pantera group 4 has known a great racing career (see entire racing history under the pictures). During its European racing history with Franco-Britannic between 1972 and 1974, it raced in Le Mans, Montlhéry, Dijon and Paris. It was then sold to Bob Grossman and exported to the US in 1974. It raced in the Trans-Am 500, in the world championship of manufacturers in Watkins Glen, in the 12 hours of Sebring. From 1976, and until 1980 it raced in the SCCA championship in the USA.

It was then bought by a dealer in 1985 when it was abandoned and had not raced for years. It then knew several owners in the US before being purchased by Dick Lasselle in 1993. He had the car restored an entered it in vintage racing (SVRA and HSR championships) with top results. It always finished in the top two of its class in every race it entered. It even did a first overall in a SVRA race in Watkins Glen in 2003 (ahead of Porsche 906, 908 and Lola T70’s), and at Limerock in 2010 (fastest lap)

This is an awesome car, extremely efficient and reliable at the same time. The engine has only been used for 5 hours of racing. It has been dynoed at 567 HP with a single Holley carb. In 2001, the ZF gearbox has been rebuilt by Rick Bell Motorsports (Rick has been the driver of the car in most vintage events) and the engine has been fully restored by a Nascar engine builder. Many upgrades have been added to the engine to get more horsepower and torque, but also to improve the reliability. A lightweight crank has been fitted, as well as Aussie Cleveland heads, a Victor Jr intake or titanium valves. The engine has been dynoed at 491 HP and 477 ft/pounds of torque at 5.400 rpms. The power peak is at 7.500 rpms with 567 HP. Regarding the reliability, as the cooling is one of the weakest point on the Pantera, a huge work has been carried out during several years to solve the problem definitely. The firm Evans cooling system has built a custom cooling system for the Pantera. Is it made of a 5 stages dry sump oil pump, a liquid to liquid oil cooler, a special aluminum radiator, a special water pump and a custom aluminum coolant lines. With a proper coolant, the car never overheats whatever the race and weather conditions.

This factory group 4 Pantera is probably one of the most important. It is one the only to have been raced in Europe and in the US, racing in Le Mans, or Watkins Glen for the world championship. The history is crystal clear, which is rare on a race car, it has never been damaged, and is currently in its original specs, with its Girling brakes, and alloy doors, bonnets and rear deck lid. It is the ideal car to enter any major vintage racing event such as Le Mans Classic, the French Tour Auto, the Spa 6 hours, the Monterey historic races or Goodwood.

It has to be pointed out that for the 2012 edition of Le Mans Classic, it will be the 40th anniversary of the first race of a Pantera in Le Mans. It will be a unique event the future owner can of course race in with this awesome Pantera group 4.

For our customers who would like to race the car in Europe, we can assist them in getting FIA HTP papers, which will be a mere formality for such a car. We have noted that few modifications will have to be carried out to get the HTP : a new FIA rollcage, and new seats, shoulder harnesses and fire extinguishers.

History

This car has a continuous history:
1989 First Owner: Abarth - First race: Monte-Carlo Rally, with number 4 with driven by Biasion - Silvero. Italian registration: TO 89093H. This car won the Rally.

After its success in the Monte-Carlo Rally, Abarth sold the car to Lancia France. Lancia France gave the car to Sabby: it was immediately registered in France. The team Grenoble Sport Auto was in charge of the maintenance of the car. The car was then under Lancia France livery in Blue - White - Yellow colours. It entered several rallies and won the Rallye du Rouergue and the Rallye des Cevennes, finished second in the Rallye Tour Auto and Rallye d’Antibes.
At the end of the successful 1989 season, the car was sold to Sabby’s Team: Grenoble Sport Auto. It has been rented in rallies and finished second at Rallye de Picardie. Then the team Grenoble Sport Auto converted the car to 16 Valves specifications and continue to rent the car. Finally they had the car fully converted to “Deltona” specifications and sold it to a local French rally driver. The current owner had the car repainted under original Martini livery.
